Digital representation of an object or concept refers to information being translated into binary code, allowing it to be stored or transmitted with one another. There are strong advantages to this topic such as efficiency and consistency. Using these representations lead to rapid processing or transmitting data. There is also something such as accessibility. Acessibility with digital represenation is shown where data is easily accesible as well as being just more convenient to get. For example in class we spoke about indexed images, and the benefit of using a digtal representation. Using a digital representation allows the bits within the data to be indexed to a color palette, allowing for faster viewing, and smaller save sizes.
